We celebrated our annual Hispanic day in style on 30th June 2017. We had lots of fun dressing up, we created art, modelling with clay, we made lots of yummy fajitas and had a great fun throughout the day. I am pleased to announce that St Marys school has been successful in gaining the Bronze Primary Spanish Award. Thank you for your hard work and support in helping with this achievement.
Our annual Summer Fair, is a wonderful event organised with our Parent Teacher and Friends Association. There are numerous stalls and activities such as face painting, hook a duck, penalty shoot out, hair braiding and a bouncy castle. We even had the lovely police dogs from Stoke Newington Police Station visit and great fund was had…
Some of our year 3 and year 4 pupils participated the the Hackney Tennis tournament, which involved 11 other Hackney Schools. Year 4: Grace and Jude Year 3: Natalia and Joe We done to those that participated.
Reception have been working very hard to learn a huge selection of songs as part of the EYFS Music Festival. Last Thursday they visited the Round Chapel to perform the songs with lots of other schools. They sang beautifully to the large audience of parents and friends.
