As part of anti bullying week, St Mary’s have been working with Big Foot Arts Education to help promote positive relationships through a great range of workshops and assemblies.
Bullying can be painful and a sensitive subject to talk about. Something we are very aware can happen within schools and it can come in many different forms. Through assemblies and workshops Big Foot Arts Education explore these issues with the pupils in depth. We want for our pupils to recognise what bullying can look like, how they can avoid it and who they should talk to about it.
We explore cyber bullying, respect, self-respect as well as the importance of embracing and celebrating differences. This is something that Bigfoot continue to offer schools throughout the year as it is recognise just how important it is to do so.
