Spanish was introduced in 2010 and we employ a specialist languages teacher to deliver the language to the whole school.  All lessons are supported by the class teacher who then reinforces the language daily.

SPANISH PROVISION : EYFS 10 minutes with daily reinforcement.   KS1 10 – 15 minutes with daily reinforcement.   KS2 40 minutes with daily reinforcement.   As well as the weekly lessons, there is an annual Hispanic day held in the summer term where children dress up and learn about cultural aspects of Spanish speaking countries.
