Every Armistice day since 1918 a two minutes silence has been held, as on the 11th November the armistice (The peace) was signed. St Mary’s school held a two minutes silence on Armistice Day to remember the people that died for our country. Each class held a lesson about remembrance day and year 3 made some magnificent poppies, which are on display in the reception area.
